I know you all are just beside yourself with anticipation about my llama post....so here it is. You see everything out here in people yards and on their land. If you have to have 10 animals to get a farm tax credit, these people find anything they can to equal ten...Buffalo, longhorn elk, emu's, ostrich, and these weird looking things...llama's.

When we leave house B, (Building house) and head to feed our horses at our friends Helen and Nelsons, we always pass these Llamas. This day they were close up to the fence and I had my camera handy, so I stopped to take pics, just for you guys, because seriously, when do you get to get this close to a Llama? When do you want to ever because they spit you know. They were spitting at each other, but not at me.
This adorable little fellow could not keep his eyes open. They are raggedy too. When they're groomed up and brushed, they're really a beautiful, although quite peculiar looking animal and I have to wonder, what was God thinking? When he got to Camels, Porcupines, Giraffe's, Gecko's and the like, I think his creativity just went into overdrive. He did it for our entertainment and enjoyment...to show us the variety that he's capable of. So here you are folks...Llamas.

When we lived here before, the library had a program, where these local people brought Llama's to the library for show and tell, and read "Is your Mama a Llama" book. Which is a really cute book for little ones.

This one is marked like an Appaloosa horse with spots and wouldn't have anything to do with me. Wouldn't even look at me.
