What is it with children and bath time? Why can't they just get in and wash and get out? For those of you with small children, rest assured, it's not just your kids...it gets worse or continues with age..we're going on 11 here and I still can't get Hannah in and out of the tub or shower in a timely manner. Tonight she was in there for 15 minutes and I heard NOTHING coming from the bathroom...no splashing, no singing, not a sound. I'm thinking it's time to get out. So I go check on her and she's sitting, patiently lathering up her English horse rider (pictured above). Notice how nice and clean... her washcloth is dry...her hair is dry, her body is dry from the waist up. She just smiles at me as I pluck the rider and wisk him away to take the picture. "Give him to me" I say. ..."that's a girl"...is her only explanation...sigh...Thursday, October 8, 2009

Bathtime with EK is such a hassel! Now, Ethan will take three a day if I let him!
that is too funnny!! Molly is a soaker too and Jake will just stand in the shower for 20 minutes letting the warm water run down his backside..........I've threatened him with paying the water bill!!
