Did You Miss Me?

I'm baaaaaaaack! Got home last night, after a hairy morning/last day. Caught an 11 am flight out of Bozeman after a trip to quick care for a shot of Phenegran for Hannah. A bout of food poisoning or something viral woke her up Sat. morning and she laid on the bathroom floor and dry heaved until about 8 o'clock. I told Carl, we're finding a quick care, and after requesting a pop of Phenegran in the hip, she slept the entire bumpy flight over mountains and through clouds and we are both still on clear liquids. I am so thankful for doctors who actually listen to mothers, who know when I say "I"m a nurse and I know it's not appendicitis"...they listen and don't order a CAT scan of the abdomen and simply do what I ask and give her a shot for nausea to get us through the flight. I've slept off and on all day, Hannah has watched TV and played DS, since there was neither on this trip (no air conditoner and no cell phone reception either). I am unpacked but still doing laundry. We're off to the barn to see STAR...my how we missed her. We pick up the dog tomorrow. I will begin posting pictures of yellowstone tonight. I will post about 10 a day or however many G-Blogger will let me. I took 512. What can I say? I limited myself. Have a great one!

Poor Hannah...I could hug the person responsible for inventing phenegren. :)

Glad you are home...are you wanting your punch???!

I know how much you love Phenergan...how much would you pay for one? :-) I need to get my punch from you; I"m dying to use it. Tomorrow?

the military doesn't give Phenergan - I miss the civilian Dr. Option. All they prescribe here is a dose of "suck it up". So far not helping.

Suck it up huh? You might have to resort to street drugs....find a dealer.......:-)

Military docs have always given me phenergan (trying hard to spell it right!)...well not always, but I've had it a few times. I had severe morning sickness with Seth and then when I had the flu just a couple of months ago, I got a rx for it.

I'll call you tomorrow about coming by to see ya and bring you your punch.

the docs here don't - they don't get any fancier than Amoxicilin (I know I spelled that wrong). And that you have to insist on - if you can get an appointment. 11 months & counting.

When I was an Oncology nurse, we hung 50mg bags of Zofran 30 min. before giving chemotherapy...aren't you glad somebody thunk to use it for other people? I think it's like $18 a pill isn't it? I'm hoarding my 4 phenergan suppositories...I might put them on ebay, any takers? :-)
