People, Places, & Things....

Me and my GREAT NEPHEW Hayden. He's so
stinkin' cute...the spitting image of his mother
(my neice) at this age. He'll be six in August.
Don't GREAT AUNT'S smell like moth balls
and wear support hose? I'm breaking the
stereotype!

Aren't these cute? I'd like to take credit for the idea, but I just copied the picture on the idea sheet...this is a recipe for you Destiny! It was for my Mother-in-law's VBS night...they are doing the same theme as us, and these are Beach Cupcakes...white for the sky, blue for the ocean, graham cracker crumbs for the sand, a Peanut Butter oversized M&M (I didn't eat any) for the Sunshine and a toothpick and cupcake liner for the umbrella!

Got to eat at my favorite place for dinner...PF Chang's Chinese Bistro! Love that place! The Lettuce Wraps are to die for. Hannah likes the big concrete horse out front and those crazy revolving doors that they have in the front.

My neice Amanda. Isn't she beautiful? She has those gorgeous curls that I covet, and a fabulous personality. She's so witty, and funny, and smart. I finally got to see her yesterday, since she's been AVOIDING me my entire visit! Can you blame her for not wanting to see me? I mean look atme! I need to put on makeup at some point this trip!

I was so happy to see my favorite Aunt and Uncle yesterday. They just popped into my Mom's house by surprise, and I was so glad to see them. It's been more than 10 years since I last saw them. I always feel pulled in a million directions when I come home; not enough time for everyone; 4 brothers and sisters and 6 neices and nephews, one brother and sister in law, all my aunts and uncles and friends, but spending just a little time today with my Aunt and Uncle reminded me that it's the quality of the time you spend together, not the quantity...now if I can just get my family to understand this!

Isn't this a funky looking flower? It's a Gerbera Daisy, and I wish it was orange and growing in my flowerbed. I've never seen one with petals like this. That's kinda' how I feel today, going in all different directions, so it's appropriate.

I have no idea who's house this is but I admire it every time we go by it at the lake. Who wouldn't? However, I wouldn't want to own it...I mean seriously, think how many toilets it has...who'd want to clean all those, of course if you had this house, it probably comes with a maid. My favorite part are the tiers and the pool with the waterfall. Dream on...
