Look what my sister made me! I just want to say first, that she is incredibly talented. I couldn't come close to creating something so beautiful. I wish you could see the back; it's just as pretty as the front, and the colors are perfect for me and match my brown chair to a tee. She knows I love earth tones and I think she did a fabulous job picking patterns and a scheme just for me. She's made several quilts; one gorgeous red and blue bandanna one for H last Christmas, one for my Mom (I'll put a picture of it on here later), one for her son out of Bandannas from Korn Concerts, and I'm sure one or two more. I don't think she's made one for herself though, but she really should do that....Deb, if you're reading this, I LOVE THIS QUILT! I will treasure it forever! I might add, that this quilt is NOT machine quilted...it is hand quilted with a needle and thread; which I imagine is truly a lost art. Her trademark are the buttons that she sews on last. On mine, she put fall leaves. I'm sure for a small fortune she'd make you one!

I will probably not be ordering until July myself, but if you want one before then, you can order online like I said, just let me know.

It's beautiful! I'm in awe of the patience she must have to quilt that by hand! I love the colors too, they just feel so comfy & homey. (can colors "feel" comfy?) Anywho, enjoy your new heirloom!
