This chair goes in the living room. It matches the loveseat and the couch, and the ottoman that is in the scrapbook room. We have lived in only one house where we have been able to put all 4 pieces together. Now, the chair got stuck in our bedroom for lack of a better place. It doesn't bother me there, it fits nice in that reading corner, but not crazy about the color.
Well, lucky me, apparenly there are some things that are available @ Target online, that are not available in the store. Someone ordered this slipcover for a chair...returned it to the store, and Target has this inconspicuous spot for that sorta' stuff, out of site and on end caps in the houseware dept. They mark online items and out of package items very cheap. This slipcover had NEVER been taken out of the pkg. Notice the original price was $49.95, but the mark-down price,{ because it was returned to a store, but purchased online}, was $12.56. That would be what I paid. Woop Woop. Yes I did a happy dance in Target. The fact that it was neutral enough (brown) to go in my bedroom made it double exciting.
This is the pattern, but the color is darker. It's a cotton/linen blend. It was a tad big for my chair, but I made it work. I don't spend a lot of time sitting in this chair, and for $12, I just wanted it to look good.
Ta-Da!
I'm in love with these curtains I found at Target. I've had solid chocolate brown curtains for 8 yrs. I'm glad the chick that bought my house wanted the curtains...cause i like the new ones better.
