Pottery Barn Shelves Relocation...

I have been itching to get my pottery barn shelves on the wall. After deciding initially that I just didnt' have room for them here, i decided to hang them in the dining room, like I did in the last house. I moved the hutch over, which Carl so lovingly centered on the 12ft wall...took up the entire wall, so I caddy-cornered it, which I love. I love off centered and caddy cornered furniture, which I think is a little odd considering how symetrical I like everything else. He hates hanging these shelves..they aren't ledges..they are 1 ft deep shelves and have these weird awkward hangers that require studs. Let the stud hunt begin...

Because of where the studs were and how close the hutch was, I wasn't able to stairstack the like I wanted, bu they're off centered enough to not be matchy-matchy, which i don't think ledges or shelves should ever be.

I actually have 3 of these things, but I have only been able to hang them together once, and that was when we lived here before in 2003. I had a huge long wall in my living room and they looked so good together. I guess I'll hang the other one...maybe my scrapbook room.

I like where they are, but not so sure i like this planter under it. i think I need to move it back to the foyer. Another project complete...
