Almost Done!

As of yesterday, all we need is grass, carpet, a vent over the cooktop, hinges & handles  on the garage doors (decorative), the fence taken down, the outside to the door lacquered, and top soil in the flowerbeds.
Our builder asked me if I wanted my copper roof to age to green or brown...like I even knew I had a choice...I thought all copper aged to green, but apparently not. I picked brown, since everything else on the house is brown or black. We'll see how it ages...update to follow. BTW, this is the window to my scrapbook room.
The Boat Garage, all ready for a boat....although Duck Season is quickly approaching, so it won't be in there for long.
I told Amy I'd post these pictures of the trim on the garage doors. It's black. I went back and forth on this...they do it alot out here. In fact,  you rarely see a garage casing painted the same color as the garage doors. But, I finally succummed to peer pressure and did the same thing, I painted them contrasting colors. I think once the hinges and handles are on it will look sharp.
Yes, people that is three air conditioner units. Cringe. 1 for the right side of the house, 1 for the left and 1 for upstairs. I have always had uneven temps in the bigger houses that I have lived in, and in Louisiana, that was the first house I actually lived in with an individual unit for the upstairs, and I loved it, so I'm hoping this will be great....once I figure out which thermostat goes with which room and which until and once I lock Hannah's thermostat so that she can't bump it down to 60...because she will.
All appliances are in except the vent in the hood. we keep cleaning off the island and the workers keep piling it with stuff. What do they think they are doing, building a house or soemthing?
If I live to be 85, I will make at least 46 Thanksgiving turkeys in this oven.

LOVE how the sink turned out. It's a little sparkly.
Guest Bathroom sink & vanity.
My Vanity & My closet...
Laundry room sink...carl says it's perfect for gutting fish and cleaning ducks. NOT. That's what the water hose is for.
Exterior carriage lights.

Lookin good!! What kind of granite did you use in the bathroom. Its pretty! I guess I could probably look back at the granite post, but that would involve more than just asking! :)

so, when are you moving in? This looks luxurious! Just missing the pasture so you can look out back and watch'em graze....oh, and the hay barn with tack room.
