I told you all months ago, that my purpose for blogging all these pictures, was so that I could keep myself straight when it came time to work on my House Building Scrapbook. Well, the time has come...I've been busy working on that album, and I'm hoping to be done with the album, (or the biggest part of it) about the time the house is done. Right now I'm behind. Here are the pages I have completed so far:
This is page one of the album, and it's basically complete except that I need to die cut some birds for this page. This picture was taken last July when we picked out the lot. I remember being here last 4th of July, and watching fireworks and wondering, "where will I be this time next year". Well, here I am.
Next two page layout is of our house plans. The page on the other side is our floor plan, but I didn't want it on the Internet for obvious reasons. This page is complete except for a picture of our Draftsman.
Breaking Ground. Our Foundation.
Something else goes on the bottom of this page, I just don't know what yet.
This is the other side.
This was a fun one to do. Our realtor took these pictures. They were taken the weekend before we went for our first clean up. We had our work cut out for us.
This is the other side.
That's all I have so far, so indeed, I am behind, since the paint and tile are going in now! Yikes! So much for staying up with the sub-contractors! If you do a big project like this, or a smaller remodel, i encourage you to document it with photos. It doesn't have to be a big elaborate scrapbook. I haven't used a lot of embellishments etc... in this one, but I'm only 9 or so pages into it and I'm already enjoying looking through it. I'm sure when it's completely done, I'll be like "Wow". I can't believe we did that.
