I'm always looking for my next good book, so when my friend Jill posted on face book that she'd finished this one and that it was fabulous, I had to jump on the band waggon. I'm all about science fiction too, so this book was right up my alley. If science fiction is not your genre of choice, don't rule this one out based solely on that fact. It's a futuristic sort of science fiction, along the lines of Twilight, though not as passionate, but ever as much suspenseful. It is the first book in a series of three, and I'm almost done. It is young adult fiction, or teen fiction, so if you choose to indulge yourself with this exciting page turner, you'll find it in that section at Target. That's where I got mine, but it's also at BAM. It's not at the Thrifty Peanut http://www.thriftypeanut.com/ (which has moved to Benton Rd. by the way) so don't bother looking for it there. I approve of it so much, that Hannah is waiting in the wings to read it when I'm done. Let me know how you love it when you're done. So glad you enjoyed it! I don't think of myself as liking science fiction so when my friend Gia recommended this I just wasn't very interested. But she loaned it to me and once I started it, I didn't want to put it down. Loved it! Catching Fire is good too and I can't wait till the 3rd one comes out in August.
oh, it isn't out yet? Hannah is ahead of me. She read the second one in one day. It took me a week to read book one.
