My boys.....one month old....

I have been asked if these boys are exactly like our ducks from last Spring, and the answer is NO! They have personalities just like dogs or cats. This year, one is extremely stingy with the food and bugs, to the point that he'll take it out of the other one's mouth. He is also the same one that does not want to be picked up and goes ballistic when you do. Puddles is very laid back and loveable...loves to be held and will lay down anywhere and everywhere. She'll take two steps out of the cage in the morning, and just sit down on the grass. Maybe she has an aversion to physical activity, to which I can relate. Last years ducks were more independent at this point, and these two freak out if you are out of their sight for a second. Also, it's been easier the second go around. I encourage everyone to do it at least once. "Hey, who said you could take a picture of bathing in this popcorn bowl" (at least it used to be my popcorn bowl) This is their dog cage that they sleep in at night. In the morning, I let them out and move them to a fenced in area in the flowerbed, with a swimming pool in it and is covered by camoflauge netting to keep critters out and to keep hawks from swooping down.
Puddles and Daffy swimming in Mark's flooded front porch in front of his camper.

The ducks took to Mark around the campfire. (see them under his chair)

the ducks are too chicken to get too far from mama, if they're in the backyard and Hannah goes inside, they go to the back door and look in and quack frantically. And destiny, aquapoppydesings2.blogspot.com for the button. let me know if that doesn't work, but I think you can just click on the Twilight button to take you to the website.
