I know the sunrise in Oklahoma is the prettiest you'll see anywhere. I've lived on both coasts, by both oceans, on the Gulf and a couple of places in between. From the very center of the country, you'll see the prettiest sunrise. On winter mornings especially, out my scrapbook window, this was my sunrise. I miss that. And while it's true, Oklahoma is flat for the most part, there's beauty in flat places and among scrubby brush and trees.

Gorgeous. Wyoming has beautiful sunrises and sunsets too. I remember both places having such vibrant colors...even sometimes purple!
Yes, Destiny, I really did take this picture! I trodded out of my house at 6am or so and took out down the sidewalk in houseshoes and pj's...I couldn't get close enough to it. It was in the turnaround and we were about 6 houses down from it. I just recently scrapbooked it, I should post the picture of the layout. I might frame it...

That is truly breathtaking! If you could be some where that was your sunrise and here at home's sunset out over Lookout Mountain...Then it would be absolutely PERFECT!!!
