What I did on Mother's Day:

1.) Woke up by Hannah and presented two gift cards; one for Books a Million; One for Sonic & the sweetest card.

2.) Snuggled and talked about the type of man she'd marry. Not sure how this came up, but she said he has to at least no how to run the vacuum. OK...whatever. Vacuuming would be lower on my list, but she's unique!

3.) Carl comes back from Sonic and serves me my Diet Coke in bed. What a guy!

4.) Lay in bed and read per instructions, while Carl and Hannah concoct breakfast in the kitchen.

5.) Walk to the kitchen with my eyes closed.

6.) Sit down to a blackberry pancake with a smiley face and whipped cream hair, and a basket of daisies...my favorite, or one of them; I have so many. Anything with petals.

7.)Eat

8.)Get ready for church while Carl feeds the horses.

9.) Go to church and get really sentimental at all the Mother's Day chat and cry at the baptisms and baby/child dedications

10.) Skip Small group and head to the LBW

11.) Lunch at Joe's

12.) Officially blow diet for the weekend and eat my first "fish taco" ever.

13.) Walk to the Eddie Bauer outlet and buy nothing! Can you believe it?

14.) Walk to Gap and buy H a pair of size 12 slim long and lean jeans and one pair of black polka dot flip flops...a sure sign of summer.

15.) Swing by Coldstone...after all, I've blown my diet anyhow.

16.) Drive home and call my Mom.

17.) Watch "Because of Winn Dixie" with Hannah upstairs.

18.) Walk to the barn, feed the horses.

19.) Walk home.

20.) Play with the ducks, shower, read, watch Survivivor Final Episode and stay up til 1 a.m. finishing a layout I've been working on for a while.

21.) Finally fall asleep about 2.a.m.

22.) Woke up by Hannah at some point because she smacked her head on her bed headboard while re-positioning her pillow. Tuck her back in and assure her that she is not suffering a concussion

23.) Relocate upstairs to sleep in my velvet chair

Where is the picture of the lay out? And did you know that old people sleep in chairs? So I thought anyway until I began falling asleep almost every night in a chair and Mark on the couch. Just like his grandparents. WOW I miss the LA Boardwalk. I think I may have to come there just to shop when I come to the states.

Hey we ate at Joe's on Mother's Day!!! Not until about 1 though. It was horrible (for us anyway). I hated that we went there with my mom for Mother's Day. Oh well, you live and learn. ;)

Great photo of you and Hannah.

I want to see the layout too! I loved reading all the details of your special day! I felt like I was with you! Sounds like lots of fun. :)

I had the shrimp platter (it was cold and had tons of breading and the breading was all hanging off) and my mom had the crab cake platter, she didn't complain, but I know it wasn't great. Also, it was annoyingly loud, like more than usual and our server was clueless. Also, we had to wait over an hour for our food. Oh and they could never get the boy's drinks right...too much carbonation/not enough soda part for their Sprite, etc. And Jon's carrots were soggy.

I wasn't too detailed was I?! ;)

K... are those ducks eating/drinking out of a dirty container??? Ha Ha
I pulled something in my back, could hardly get to the table to eat. The kids gave me beautiful Lilly's and a large rabbit cement flowers container Garrett picked it out himself. See ya soon! S

It's not dirty, just has algae in the bottom. I'm sure the TN river is no better!
