Happy Easter everyone! Meet our new additions...this is "Moe" and "Clumsy". They are baby mallard ducklings...their gender is yet to be determined! We have wanted to raise a duck for a couple of years. In Oklahoma, a kid down the street got a duckling for Easter, and "Wilson" became our street duck. We loved him. He would visit each house sometimes, and run through people's sprinklers etc... we won't be keeping them that long...when they're mature (sometime this summer) we're taking them to Shadow Lake to set them free. They are hilarious. They think Hannah is their mother. They follow her all over the backyard when they're loose. They jump up on her lap and snuggle under her arm. They chirp when she walks out of their sight. They sleep in the garage in a dog crate for now and are getting more use out of my birdbath than the birds are! You'll be seeing more pictures of Moe and Clumsy as they grow.
Oh my, this is cute, Alli is asking about them now, and she wants to make sure that mudbug is fake below, funny kid, get some business of your own Alli! Just kidding. Can't wait to see your duckies grow!
