Elementary Flashback....

I cannot believe my only baby has completed Elementary School. Her graduation from 5th grade was Friday. We are so proud of her and the awesome young lady that she is becoming. She finished 5th grade with all A's all year and 840 AR points. She was one of 55 5th graders to receive the Presidential Award of Excellence for her grades and LEAP testing scores. I wish I'd been as smart as her when I was 11. She's probably smarter than me right now. :)I thought I'd take you down memory lane with a few Elementary School pictures. This picture is the morning Hannah started Preschool. Doesn't she look really excited to be going? As you can see, she's been reading for a while. First day of 1st grade right here. I loved her hair cut like this. She never wanted it cut that way again. She hated it. yeah, that's my favorite way to read too, with my legs propped on the wall like that. Yeah, she's gotten bored with all the highlights and is now keeping a journal in this picture, probably a list of what she wants to read next. Shopping for 1st grade school supplies at Wal Mart.

First Day of Kindergarten. Age 3 1/2...right before we moved to Oklahoma the 1st time. This might be the only time she played with a doll EVER in her life. Probably why I took a picture. She's reading her a book, of course.
