Hannah's first 4H competition...BB Gun Contest @ the Beef Barn @ the State Fair. There were about 35 kids competing in the 10 year old age group, a mixture of boys and girls. They got 4 shots in three positions...standing, kneeling, and prone. She'd never shot prone or kneeling before so they had to practice that a couple of weeks before. It paid off because she took 10Th place in her age group! Look out boys!
We decided to "embrace the culture" the last few months here in Louisiana...and what better place to do it than at the State Fair.

I am so glad the Carl can do all this twirling, spinning, and twisting, because I certainly cannot. It makes me nauseous just watching these two.

and I thought I had saggy skin problems...this guy needs some serious plastic surgery...I think he won a prize or something.
The biggest horse ever. 19.2 hands tall and weighs over a ton. That's a lot of hay and a lot of poop.
