About this cat! I LOVE HER! Maybe it's because she needed a home; maybe it's because I feel flattered...after all, we did take her a MILE away to the barn and by dark she was back on the porch; peering in the back door with those big orange eyes.
We've developed quite a predictable routine the past month...cats are very predictable animals...I remember that much from growing up with three that I absolutely hated!
- Places you might find Maddie: under my bed, in the bathtub or between the shower curtain and liner; in the bookcase in the living room on a shelf; in a cabinet or drawer left open, and her very favorite place is in the TV cabinet in my scrapbook room on top of the DVR...I guess it's warm.
- Things she loves: oatmeal, tuna(what cat wouldn't), rice pudding and cottage cheese.
- Her favorite toy is a red shiny string that used to be a Christmas necklace with a bell on it. She drags it everywhere, and can be found in the bathtub in the morning playing with it.
I can't believe I have a cat that blends in so perfectly with our family (and my bedspread!).

I'm glad you are enjoying your new addition! I loved having a cat--we had one when we first got married. (I just wasn't crazy about the hair!)
the funny thing is that she doesn't really shed. She has thick coarse hair, and since the furniture is all the colors of her, even the tile, I don't see any hair. :-)
I love it and she looks like she is so lazy. I would never think that she would do anything but hide somewhere and sleep her day away.
