Christmas Day & Night....
What a day! Let's not forget why we celebrate...the birth of our Savior, who is Christ the Lord! I feel so blessed to have spent this entire week with my family. I have also able to be in touch with an old friend from High School, which I am really excited about. I'm hoping to visit her tomorrow, but today, Carl's brother and his family came to my in-laws and it was gift frenzy for a while...I really feel they go overboard, but what can you do with grandparents? NOTHING! Just let them be grandparents. I'm sure Hannah will be saying the same thing about me one day. Dinner was fabulous, and my mother-in-law and I tag teamed it since she wasn't feeling well. I could eat my weight in sweet potato casserole and pecan pie....neither of which, I might add, did I even remotely like until the past two years. Funny how your taste changes as you age.
The dinner table all set....
A morning ride on the John Deere...burning up gas since it's so cheap for a change!
Me and Hannah on the "Democratic Swing" (it's a long story).
The Chef...
Look who got something they really wanted!
Love Love Love these boots! I want a pair in my size...they're perfect for mucking stalls at the barn. (What do you think Caroline:)I did lots of handmade gifts this year; photo books; scrapbooks; photo mugs of special events; calendars. I think it means a lot to give gifts you make. I enjoyed it and I think Pop will enjoy his calendar as well.
Yeah Club Penguin!
Here is Merry Christmas herself looking all fine in her Santa dress. She's been miserable the whole time; locked either in her cage, in the garage or totally supervised in the house. You see, she ate a screw and pooped it out on the way here last week. Yes, I know. To say she's been somewhat irregular would be a severe understatement.
Isn't Carl a good sport, modeling Fancy Nancy dress up clothes for Sage? Why won't he dress up for me?
Hannah w/ her uncle Bron.
One day, we'll look back on these group photo attempts and wonder what was so terribly hard about sitting still for just a few seconds...for now, it's just funny to look at. This photo looks a lot like last years photo....
Linda laughing at her photo album of "The Boys". As you all know, she has taken over my ducks and has been feeding them daily since I left them here in May. I made her a photo book, just a flip book, of Moe and Clumsy from birth until we set them free. I think she liked it. I also made one and put it in Hannah's stocking.
Come tell Santa what you want this year....
Not sure what's going on here with me; I think I was complaining about the flash or something...it just looks funny.
Brothers...
Me trying to squeeze a hug or some sort of affection out of Sage. I had to grab her for this picture and hold on for dear life. All presents were open already; there was nothing to bribe her with... Back to Georgia tomorrow to visit Mom one last time and hopefully hit the bead store, scrapbook Heaven, meet my friend for a bit, and Sonic of course! I racked up with 3 gift cards all together! Merry CHRISTmas!

Great pics. Looks like you guys had a great time. I like Hannah's boots too.I never asked what kind of riding she does. Remember, showing horses is how Tony got into bull riding. Man, would I LOVE to go watch her in Vegas at at the Championships. Barrel racing is way, way cool!
