Flashback Friday

I love this picture for so many reasons. First, because it captures the true essence of who Hannah has been since the age of 3. It's all about the horses and has been since then. This was Summer 2003 in Oklahoma. She'd got her Spirit stick horse from Santa the Christmas before. He is still leaning in a corner in her room...every once in a while, she takes him for spin around the house. Second, it represents where we were at the time in Oklahoma; just moved in, just making friends, just growing flowers and grass...figuring out what would grow and what wouldn't, and adjusting to the wind. Look how her hair stands out in the picture. The wind blows all the time in Oklahoma....

That is a great picture. Was the horse smelling the flowers?

What a neat picture! I love the memories that pictures bring back! And you talking about Oklahoma and planting flowers reminds me of my incredible aunt who lives there!

First that all, I have to say that you should write a book, love the way that you describe your thoughts. Second, it is amazing that being so young and knowing so well what she really loves and still does.
Great picture!
