Cause & Effect from 4th grade perspective....

I've been meaning to post this for a long time, so here it is. A few weeks ago, Hannah's class was studying "cause & effect" in dialog, and how to include it in paragraphs etc... their assignment was to draw a picture and write a "cause & effect" statement/paragraph to go with it. Now, let me preface this by saying to those of you who don't know Hannah's horse STAR, this story will not be nearly as funny. To my other barn buddies, you'll find it extremely entertaining. Enjoy.
In case it won't enlarge, here is what it says:
  • I got a new horse
  • She doesn't behave
  • She can be trained
  • It takes a lot of money
  • We have enough money
  • It may not work
  • It worked
  • We found out she's not any better
  • We can do it again
  • We have to pay for it
  • The trainer will do it for free
  • It takes longer
  • She behaves well after she's done with her new training

Well I don't know much about Star, but I found this hilarious! It's amazing what goes on in a kids mind!
