I've been meaning to post this for a long time, so here it is. A few weeks ago, Hannah's class was studying "cause & effect" in dialog, and how to include it in paragraphs etc... their assignment was to draw a picture and write a "cause & effect" statement/paragraph to go with it. Now, let me preface this by saying to those of you who don't know Hannah's horse STAR, this story will not be nearly as funny. To my other barn buddies, you'll find it extremely entertaining. Enjoy.
In case it won't enlarge, here is what it says:
I got a new horse
She doesn't behave
She can be trained
It takes a lot of money
We have enough money
It may not work
It worked
We found out she's not any better
We can do it again
We have to pay for it
The trainer will do it for free
It takes longer
She behaves well after she's done with her new training

Well I don't know much about Star, but I found this hilarious! It's amazing what goes on in a kids mind!
That is hilarious!! I LOVE her drawing first of all and her list is amazing!! I think she understands the concept of C & E very well!!!
I strained my eyes to read the picture not knowing you had it typed out!!-Thanks! I did pretty good until the last line.
