Ok, if I wait another day to post, it will be "flashback Friday" again! Where has this week gone? I've been on a cleaning spree...in depth...light bulbs, baseboards, curtains, painting touch ups...it happens when the temperature drops. i can't help myself. Plus, Hannah had a docs appt. at the end of last week...ENT...tonsils come out Nov 20th! She's already complaining of a sore throat again y...do I see round three of strep within a six week period...yep. Hopefully she's just got drainage, but I doubt it...she never JUST has drainage. She apparently is now immune to Omnicef. It isn't even working now. What's next? Is there anything?
I've been scrapping....got my CM order and LOVE the drop in pages. When you slide the cardstock in, the pages lay so flat and look so nice. I'm enjoying scrapping out of order and just grabbing a piece of cardstock and scrapping away. Having to worry about what order the page has to be in, is a thing of the past. Hannah's school album will be the first one to be drop in and the next will be 2008. The one's I've done so far is just in an album box...I'm waiting for a fabulous color to come out this winter. Burnt orange or something. Also, next will be the Picfolio Add a Page albums...which I can't wait to get. That's how I'm doing Yellowstone pictures. Like the Picfolio, except you can add pages. I'm sure they'll be just as great as the drop in deal.
I took myself to Dr. N yesterday to get my eyes checked. It appears I am indeed approaching 40...not just on paper. My eyesight has changed quite a bit and for those of you who are tired of seeing me squint, I'll be getting my new Sarah Palin glasses on Monday. :-) My eyes have been hurting and I have been avoiding the computer for that reason specifically. It appears I have "dry eyes"...it is indeed a medical condition...and to think how many times I have laughed at that "Do you have dry, red eyes" commercial...the one with the talking eye drops bottle? A prescription later, I'm feeling better already. My mother has retinal myosis and a myriad of other eye diseases; so I was relieved to discover I was just aging. Apparently the medications I take for Fibro. all cause "dry eyes" and with all my recent reading, it has caused an irritation of some sort. My eyeballs feel like velcro on my lids. I can wake up at night and hear them rubbing against my eyelids. It's kinda' gross, I know. No, No, he didnt' tell me to stop reading, and I'm reading three books right now, one of which is so good I have to make myself put it down. :-) After I get my eyes lubricated, I'm going back to be fitted for contacts...which I haven't worn in 12 years...should be interesting. You'll all be happy just to see me not squint and I can then have botox between my eyes. yes seriously.
I'll post pics of what I've been scrapping tomorrow. Goodnight!

I hope Hannah feels better soon! I got strep every year that I taught.
Its about time CM comes out with refillable picfolio. I actually bought a Memory Keepers album just so I could use the 6-up 4x6 photo sleeves that were refillable--I know--GASP! This is the first non-CM album I have ever purchased! I'm going to use CM of EK's school album. They are just getting so darn expensive!
I can't wait to see your new pages!
and you new specs!
It is about time! N-E-Way ! i am glad it is just age!
