Poll Results...

OK, 'tis that time again to reveal another minute piece of me in this weeks poll results... again, I find it extremely interesting what you all choose as the "false" statement about me from my polls. Two of you don't know I'm frugal when it comes to vehicles and that I'm much to messy in my car and rough on it to drive anything new. My Avalon is indeed a 2000 model, has over 100K miles and has been paid for about 7 years. Two of you gave me more credit than I deserve in the map reading department...you thought that it must be FALSE...that I probably should've been able to read a road map at age 22...but indeed this is true..I could not read a road map. If you remember from last week's poll..I didn't drive until age 22, so why learn to read a map? :-) 46% of you thought that the false statement was "I totalled my first car and spent 1 week in the hospital". This was a TRUE statement...I did indeed flip my car end over end and land in the opposite direction in a very deep culvert. (never reach into the floorboard while driving on a rain-slicked road). There is a picture in this post of my poor car...my 1990 Ford Escort Pony...all decked out with rack & pinion steering, no air conditioner or radio. I'd just added that snazzy body side molding a week before I totalled it. It cost me $12,000 new, I financed it for 5 years and my payment was $168 a month. The insurance barely paid off the note. Now, the FALSE statement this week was "I have only had 1 speeding ticket". So if you picked that, you chose correctly. However, 23% of you either think I drive fast and have most likely had more than one speeding ticket, or 23% of you think I drive like a grandma and have never had one at all. The truth is that I have NEVER had a speeding ticket. Gotcha! Don't forget to vote on this weeks poll to the right. Better luck this week!

I can't believe I havn't done better on the polls. I am disappointed. I was thinking about a story you told me about you and Carl once in a drive- through, so I thought the driver's license was wrong, but now that I think about it, I think he drove through the drive-through where you worked. You'll have to refresh my memory.

You're right, he drove through where I worked. He drove me everywhere and came to get me for dates, until I got my license in 1990

Hey Kelly! The picture thing is easy...when you load it, it will be at the top like you said. But, just click on it and drag it to where you want it to go. Be sure to select which side of the page you want it to go on before you load it, though. And, when you move the pics around it will mess up the spacing of your paragraphs so just go back and delete all the extra spacing. I always click on the preview button to see what it's gonna look like so I can fix anything I might've missed. Hope that helps!
