Here are the boys! I'm in love with these furry fellows! Who'd have ever thought ducks would have personalities? One likes to snuggle and doesn't mind being picked up...the other will snuggle as long as he gets to pick where and he squeals like a pig when you pick him up. They both love crickets, eat mealworms by the spoonful and have adjusted to swimming in the wheelbarrow instead of the birdbath. I can't bear the thought of letting them go free!

You can't let them go .... they will live in that wheelbarrow and won't even think about flying off, if you don't teach them. try to teach them to catch food, mine would do that it was so cute.. they are very smart!!. Susan
unfortunately, "poultry" is not allowed in this parish..or in this neighborhood, so they'll have to go this summer. We do catch food, every night they look forward to our walk around the yard looking for crickets, mosquito hawks, anything with wings basically. One is really good at catching, and Clumsy, well he's not too good at much of anything but drinking. We're bringing them to Loret Marina in June, haven't you heard?
Man, those things have grown!!! They are so stinkin' cute!!!
